Code Challenge

The coding program emphasizes the cultivation of essential computer science principles, enhancement of problem-solving abilities, promotion of creativity, and a fundamental comprehension of programming languages.

College Readiness

The college preparation program aims to equip high school students with the necessary academic readiness, effective study skills, and an understanding of lifelong learning principles, as well as insights into the college experience. Furthermore, the program provides assistance with Financial Aid applications, scholarship submissions, and nominations for fellowships, including Posse, Dell, Gates, QuestBridge, among others.

STEAM Conference

The STEAM Conference is an initiative aimed at offering middle and high school students the chance to engage and participate as active contributors in a conference environment. Established in 2010, this event was created through a partnership between the TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science program at the Center for College Access and Success at Northeastern Illinois University and the National Science Foundation's Scientists for Tomorrow program from the Department of Science and Mathematics at Columbia College Chicago.
