
Summer STEAM Academy
The TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science program provides services to low-income, first generation college-bound high school students in Chicago and the nearby suburbs.
Summer Academy of Innovation
The program provides Saturday sessions during Northeastern's semester calendar in Fall and Spring. The sessions take place every Saturday at Northeastern, Columbia College Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry or other venues.
During the Saturday sessions program, participants engage in academic coursework, project-based learning, lanuguage exploration, workshop session preparation, mentoring, tutoring, college readiness and more.
The Summer semester takes place at Northeastern's main campus for six weeks, Mondays through Fridays.

Summer of Innovation
The TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science will host it's Summer semester of academic activity in 2016. The summer of innovation is six weeks of program that meets Mondays through Fridays.
When: (tentative) June 20th - July 29th (six weeks)
Where: Northeastern Illinois University - El Centro
The summer activities include the following:

Academic coursework in mathematics, science exploration, computer programming and language exploration.

Project-based career-oriented activities in VEX robotics, SeaPerch (underwater robotics), game design, and more!

Access to STEM professional/career exploration, exposure to academic seminars, and integrated field trips to STEM institutions and organizations.
Program participants will earn digital badges in STEAM content via #CCOL.
